As someone who comes from an analog era where the majority of the shots had to be \"right\" in the camera, I have a slightly different approach when it comes to image editing.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.martinwieland.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Track-to-Nowhere-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6331 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.martinwieland.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Track-to-Nowhere-1-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"334\" height=\"457\" \/><\/a><\/p><p>In theory, we have the ability to retouch, alter, and perfect images to an excessive extent using editing software like Photoshop. However, personally, I strive to intervene as little as possible in my images. Why? Because I want to preserve the natural look and authenticity of my shots.<\/p><p>My approach in Photoshop is more restrained. I primarily focus on simple adjustments like cropping, brightness, and contrast. Removing blemishes or imperfections to enhance the overall appearance is also part of the process. Occasionally, I even eliminate distracting elements. However, overall, I aim to keep the images as true to life as possible.<\/p><p>Why is this natural look so important to me? Because I firmly believe that the true beauty of a moment or a person often lies in their natural state. Excessive retouching and manipulation can compromise the authentic expression. For me, photography is a medium to capture reality and emotions, rather than creating a perfect illusion.<\/p><p>Every photographer has their own philosophy and individual approach to image editing. Personally, I find that less is often more. I want to preserve the authenticity of my shots and highlight the natural character of my subjects.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.martinwieland.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Strandgut-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6329 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.martinwieland.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Strandgut-1-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"373\" height=\"412\" \/><\/a>In a world dominated by digital manipulation possibilities, I want to encourage us not to lose sight of the essence. Doch ich pers\u00f6nlich versuche, so wenig wie m\u00f6glich in meine Bilder einzugreifen. Warum? Weil ich den nat\u00fcrlichen Look und die Authentizit\u00e4t meiner Aufnahmen bewahren m\u00f6chte.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Meine Herangehensweise in Photoshop ist eher zur\u00fcckhaltend. Ich konzentriere mich haupts\u00e4chlich auf einfache Anpassungen wie Ausschnitt, Helligkeit und Kontrast. Hautunreinheiten oder Druckstellen und \u00e4hnliche Retuschen geh\u00f6ren auch dazu, um das Erscheinungsbild zu verbessern. Sogar st\u00f6rende Bildelemente entferne ich hin und wieder. Aber im Gro\u00dfen und Ganzen versuche ich, die Bilder so naturgetreu wie m\u00f6glich zu belassen.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Warum ist mir dieser nat\u00fcrliche Look so wichtig? Weil ich der festen \u00dcberzeugung bin, dass die wahre Sch\u00f6nheit eines Moments oder einer Person oft in ihrer Nat\u00fcrlichkeit liegt. Durch eine \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfige Retusche und Manipulation geht dieser authentischen Ausdruck verloren. F\u00fcr mich pers\u00f6nlich ist weniger oft mehr. Ich m\u00f6chte die Echtheit meiner Aufnahmen bewahren und den nat\u00fcrlichen Charakter meiner Motive hervorheben.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">In einer Welt, die von digitalen Manipulationsm\u00f6glichkeiten gepr\u00e4gt ist, m\u00f6chte ich dazu ermutigen, den Blick f\u00fcr das Wesentliche nicht zu verlieren.
